Michael Jackson Passes Away

This is by far is the hardest post that I have ever had to write. Pop singer and world wide icon Michael Jackson has passed away today at the age of 50. Michael suffered from cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his home in Holmby Hills. One of the staff members at his home called the paramedics who were unable to resuscitate him. The king of pop leave behind three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

I grew up listening to music by The Jackson Five and Michael Jackson so this is definitely a sad day for me. The proper words to express how I feel elude me at the moment.

What do men look for in a women? From a man's point of view

Last week I did a post titled- Are you the other women?
and A Good friend of mine who goes my the name of "A Millz" brought up a good point..... He asked how would a guy know if he was the side dude?? That question lit me up like an old kerosene lamp!! He was so right and I reviewed my answers and came to the conclusion that they can apply to both men and women. For the simple fact that I know 1,000,000,000 men and he was the ONLY one to ask that question made me wonder if he may have been a diamond in the rough. I then asked him what qualities does he look for in a female and his answers were sooo on point i had to ask him to be a guest blogger for that topic. So here it is, I hope you enjoy it and you never know, you may see him on here more often...

A woman with common sense ( refrain from the Jessica Simpson moments... please!!!!... lol ).... also morals and goals (real goals ) are a must it lets us know you think past just whats going on today.... Act like a lady nothing stands out more than a woman who represents elegance and grace ( like our lovely Hostess Special K ), but she also has to be open minded to having fun theirs nothing better than being able to learn and grow with someone ( another instant turn on )....last but not least a very big turn on is a woman who can really put herself together from head to toe , and everything under lol ... like my boy Drake said we fall in love with girls who's caught up in their glamor who dresses like Sarah Jessica and live like princess Diana... But at the end of the day we are really attracted to someone who can be themselves ... NO ONE wants to be lead on to think you someone your really not... That's what we look for ladies keep yourself well together with a crazy sex appeal, and carry a conversation with intelligence and we will notice and try to make a fool of ourselves by making a corny line to get your attention but that's another topic lol.... Step Your nail game up!

I personally love manicures but never really have the time to get them as often as I would like to. Were (females) all probably guilty of walking around with less then perfect nails every now and then but I have the solution.... do your own manicure at home! Not only will you save money, you get to stay on top of your nail game and have more time to take care of other things. The video that I posted below is only 4 min long but jam packed with clear explanations and great tips.

Remember- appearance may be everything but without a good personality your nothing ;-)

Now I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has had to make the dreaded "hi this is .... i found a text message from you in my mans phone and i just wanted to know who you were" phone call in her life. Yes i admit it I'm one of those in your face- need to find out why this heffa is calling my man type females.... but of course that was just with one guy- one relationship-period. We've all been through it at least once in our life and if we haven't (damn your lucky) I'm sure a friend of yours has. My question to you is- How do you know if YOUR the other women???




As much as we all like to think it’s ‘casual’ sex or were just dating, it's not that serious.... sex is never ‘casual’. There are always strings involved, whether its emotional or physical there's also an attachment of some sort. Some times the best thing to do is make things clear! Draw the line in bold black ink so tat no one can complain about "blurred vision" or miscommunication. Only have a casual fling if you can handle it- point blank.

As Humans we ALL lie, some do it with reason and some don't. Where do you stand? What do you except? Here are 10 signs that can point to a man that is more "tied up" then he leads you to believe:

10. He leaves the room to answer certain phone calls
-He will always answer a phone call from her because she is #1. Even if he lies about where he is the point is he cares about what she thinks... you on the other hand- he doesn't care if you find is strange that he had to use the bathroom 10 times while you were at a restaurant for an hour.

9. While out shopping with you (if you get that far) he often also picks things up for his "sister"
-Two many lies is never a good thing so he tells her the partial truth, did he go shopping? yes he did and he even picked up a top he thought would look nice on her. Was he alone? hell no but he keeps that part on mute.

8. He only spends time with you on certain days or at a certain time.
-SHES NUMBER 1!!! GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!! He swings by to see you when she goes to the gym every Friday from 6-8. He never stays on the phone past 10 because that's their time to talk or watch family guy together (yea i said family guy, i love that show!! so what!). It's always a routine and please understand that your only seeing or talking to him because HER schedule allows you to...

7. You catch him with a wedding ring on/ the wall paper on his phone is of a female (not his daughter or someone famous)
- Do i really need to explain this one??

6. You have never met any of his friends or family members
-Homeboy is wifed up and all his friends and family know!! Your non existent to them- it's a different story if you want to introduce him to your friends though...

5. He does not take you to public places or his favorite clubs/bars/ restaurants
-Him and wifey are regulars at Red Lobsters and Benihannas.... so you he takes to apple bees and the burger king across town. He can't risk being caught with you so YES he makes the effort to take you some where far or "exclusive" as he likes to put it.

4.His sexual appetite is umm... lacking
-He has sex on the regular so if he doesn't seem that interested in your new lingerie with the crotch cut it don't be mad...

3.Constantly reminds you that he has a lot of female friends or that he is still close with his ex
- SMH! This is a clear sign that he does not want anything committed right now and this is just something casual for him. Also, this is his way of letting you know not to question him if and when a female calls him. "know your role!" smh

2.He has female things in his car or apartment (i.e lip gloss, pads, hair brush, underwear) and claims that they belong to his sister/family member or his ex.
-Now this sign is not only obvious it's hilarious!! I can't tell you how much of my friends have been through this and cant seem to see the light. I don't know what grown ass man is willing to keep the belongings of his "ex" in his car or apartment. If its really over then throw the ish out and move on. I mean what do they do smell the lip gloss for fun?

DRAMA AT THE GRAMMYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF is going on at the Grammys???? This year at the Grammys is turning out to be filled with drama. First, there's Usher whom according to sources has cancelled his pre-grammy performance with Clive Davis due to complications with his wife resulting from cosmetic surgery. Tameka was supposedly having a Tummy Tuck and Liposuction abroad in Brazil. No official word or confirmation on this but we wish them the best.

Secondly and in the most surprising of events is the allegations facing our all American boy Chris Brown. According to sources Chris Brown is being investigated for felony battery charges. Word around town is that shortly after leaving the pre grammy party last night with a female passenger whom everyone speculates to be his girlfriend Rihanna, there was a heated argument followed by a altercation resulting in visible injuries for the female passenger. Interestingly enough both Rihanna and Chris Brown have cancelled their performances tonight at the Grammys...Justin Timberlake and Al Green are rumored to be taking their places tonight. We will keep you updated of these developing stories.
